On Day 3 we followed another tradition of ours which is decorating gingerbread houses. We invited Ryan's sister Ashley and her family to join us. I made a delicious dinner (okay so it was frozen pizza but I did make a wonderful salad with chicken for the adults) and then we got to decorating.
Peyton enjoyed decorating her house but she really enjoyed licking the icing.
Hailey wasn't in to eating the icing but she did enjoy eating the mini m&
m's that were in the kit.
Poor Alexis was sent to spend the evening watching Santa dance to "Jingle Bell Rock". She loves this Santa and wants to turn him on constantly. He shakes his hips while singing and she shakes her hips along with him. It is absolutely adorable. She definitely has rhythm and she didn't get that from me or Ryan (Aunt Ashley thinks Alexis got it from her).
Here are the 3 houses all finished (if you look closely you can see Alexis shaking her hips in the background!).
