Halloween

Last week was filled with lots of Halloween fun. We started off the week with the annual Ferrell Family Halloween Party. The girls had a great time playing games, eating food, and hanging out with their cousins.
Peyton with cousins Alyssa and Makenna.
Hailey and Grandma Ferrell with their Mummy.

Toss the bean bag in the pumpkin. You will notice in these two pictures both Hailey and Peyton stick out their tongues out when they are concentrating. It must be a family trait.

Pumpkin Hockey

We all made Halloween themed food and the kids had a lot of fun eating the crazy food.

Bat's Blood (Powerade)
Rotting pumpkin (funeral potatoes)

Nose Blow Burritos

Toxic Waste (fruit salad)

Hairy Monster Fingers (garlic bread sticks)

Monster Brownies
Edible Eyeballs (pudding with candy)
Halloween Night we went over to my sister Christin's house and had dinner and then went trick-or-treating. The girls had a great time with their Cardon cousins and it was a great night.

What a great week we had. Thanks to all my family for making it so much fun.

What A Doll

My wonderful and talented sister-in-law Ashley took Peyton out last week to take some photos of her in her Baptism Dress. Here are some of the beautiful photos she took. I can't believe how grown up she looks. As my mother-in-law would say, "What a doll!".

Saturday

We had a great day yesterday. The weather is finally starting to cool down and now we can start enjoying the outside again. When we woke up in the morning I took the girls outside for a bike ride. The girls enjoyed the freedom to ride around the cul-de-sac as many times as they wanted. After that my nephew Jaxon came over for a few hours and we played in the backyard for a while. Alexis decided she wanted to have some fun outside too so we let her have her first experience in the swing. She seemed to enjoy it but really all she wanted to do was chew on her toy.

Peyton loved pushing Alexis. At times I had to tell her not to push her so high but she was a great big sister.

Hailey enjoyed playing in the toy car and swinging too.

Jaxon really loves playing with the girls and he had a great time climbing the tree, swinging, and playing in the toy car.

I keep trying to get a picture of Alexis smiling but she seems to know when I have a camera in my hand because she just won't smile for me when I do. Oh well. She is getting so big and is getting such a cute personality. I just love days like yesterday.

Greco Roman Day

The 3rd grade at Peyton's school has been studying Greece and Rome and so today they had Greco Roman Day. They were suppose to dress in Toga's and they got to eat food from that region of the world. Here Peyton is in her Toga (thank you Aunt Amber for letting her use your old Toga from Junior Miss). Peyton really wanted a head piece to go with her toga so she went out back and picked leaves off the orange tree and we hot glued them together. It turned out perfect and she loved it. Here she is in her Toga and crown.

Of course Hailey wanted to make a crown too so we couldn't leave her out of the fun. Peyton had a great time dressing up and it was fun getting her ready for it.

Grandpa's Girl

Even though we live with Ryan's parents we don't see his dad very often because he is traveling a lot for work. So when he is in town he enjoys holding Alexis and singing to her. Over Conference weekend he was able to spend some good quality time with her and she really enjoyed it.
Don't pay attention to the nice hair do. We really don't do it very often so this is what she usually looks like.
I love this one since she is smiling at Grandpa.

Of course Hailey wanted to be part of the fun. She loves to joke around with Grandpa. My girls are lucky to have this time with their Grandparents. I am sure they will cherish these memories.

A Few More

Hailey was so excited to be tall enough for a few more rides at California Adventure. She loved going on the Grizzly Run and always managed to get the most soaked out of everyone. She loved every minute of it. Here she is with Peyton and her cousin Aurora after they got off the ride.

Aurora and Peyton really wanted to ride the rapids one more time but we only had 2 fast passes left so Natalie agreed to let them go on it by themselves if she could walk them to the front and watch them get on and get off. Well the ride happened to have technical difficulties during the middle of their ride so needless to say Natalie almost had a heart attack . They finally got it started again after about 10 minutes and they made it off safely.

Disneyland made Space Mountain into Ghost Galaxy for the first time this year. Peyton was so excited to go on it and we had to wait all day to be able to go on it with a fast pass. Well the ride ended up being so scary and both girls closed their eyes for most of the ride. Peyton said she never wanted to go on it again. Someone should tell Disney that this is a G rated park not a PG-13 park.

The Past Couple of Weeks

Well we have been up to a lot of stuff over the past couple of weeks so I am just going to do one long post. My brother Andrew, his wife Michelle, and my sister Rachael came for a quick visit and it was great to see them. We had lots of family dinners and we were able to hang out during the day. Here we are hanging out after dinner.

This was the first time all of my siblings had been together since Christmas almost 2 years ago.

We love to get a little crazy.

We were able to visit my Mita (grandmother) while they were in town.

The girls went to the ward camp out with Ryan 2 weeks ago and had a great time. I asked Ryan to take pictures and this is all I got.

This past week I took the girls along with my niece Summer to Disneyland. Summer had never been to Disneyland or the beach so we were excited to show it to her. Here she is right when we first walked in to Disneyland.

Here she is on her very first ride, Splash Mountain. She got a little wet but it felt good since it was so hot (100 degrees).

Aunt Natalie treated us all to dinner with the Princesses to celebrate every one's birthdays. Here the girls are with Ariel.

Thank you so much Natalie, Aurora, and Mark for letting us stay with you and making our trip so much fun. Thanks for taking care of Alexis and being so generous. We love you. (I will post pictures of the girls at the beach in another post)

One last photo. Peyton decided it would be fun for all 3 of the girls to lay in bed together tonight before they went to bed. They were laughing and having a great time and it made my heart melt. I just love these beautiful girls.
