Happy Birthday Peyton!

Peyton turned 8 years old on Saturday and boy did she have a great birthday. Saturday morning she woke up and opened her presents from Ryan and I, Hailey, Alexis, and Grandma and Grandpa Ferrell. Ryan also took her out to get her favorite smoothie for breakfast.
Here she is excited to open her presents.
Here are a few of the presents she got. She really wanted her own camera and since it was a tradition in my family to get a camera when we turned 8 I just had to get her one. She also got her very first pearl necklace from Grandma and Grandpa Ferrell. They purchased them while they were in China and Peyton is so excited to wear them.

Grandma and Grandpa Cardon came and took Peyton to Coldstone Creamery. She loved her Pink Lemonade Sorbet and she also loved the money they gave her (she really wanted money so that is what they gave her.)

That night she had a birthday party with all of her girl cousins that live around here and her good friend Rachel from school. They ate pizza, painted a craft, painted their toenails (with a beautiful flower done by Aunt Ashley), and made their own home made ice cream. They had such a fun time and I was worn out by the end of it.

On Sunday all of the Ferrells who live around here got together for family dinner and celebrated Peyton and her cousin Makenna's birthday. Here is the cake that Peyton made with Grandma Ferrell. She decorated it with some of her Littlest Pet Shops.
We are so grateful that Peyton is our daughter and we are so proud of her. She is such a wonderful girl who is so kind, loving, honest, and smart. We can't wait until she gets baptized next month. We love you Peyton. Happy Birthday.

Girls Night In

On Friday night I was able to get together with my sister-in-laws and my mother-in-law to make some cute hair clips for me and my girls. We ordered dinner in and got started on making the flowers. We had a great time and I am so lucky to have married into such a fun family. I look forward to wearing the things we created.

Supermodel

About a month ago my sister-in-law Ashley asked Peyton to be a model for her so she could take pictures of these adorable hats. Even though it was super hot outside Peyton did a great job and the pictures turned out super cute. Here are a few pictures from the shoot. It is so wonderful having a photographer in the family.

Busy Bee Preschool

Hailey started preschool today for her final year before Elementary School. She was really excited to see who her teacher was going to be and what kids were going to be in her class. She even got up a little early since she was so excited. Here is a picture of Peyton and Hailey in their new dresses their Grandma Ferrell made them.

Here Hailey is right before we left for school. And here is a picture of how I did her hair for school today. She also wore a cute flower in her hair. As you can tell I love doing my girls hair and it has become a bit of an obsession for me. I definitely spend more time on their hair than I do on mine.

Peyton's in 3rd Grade!

Peyton started 3rd grade today. I can't believe she is getting so old. She wasn't too excited to go back to school (she wanted to have summer last a little longer) but by the time she got to school this morning she was excited.
Peyton loves wearing skirts and dresses. She definitely didn't get that from me but she sure looks cute.
Here is her cute hairdo that Aunt Ashley taught me to do. It was a little time consuming but it looked great.

Peyton was so excited to have her friend Rachel in her class again this year. She even gets to sit across from her in class.
We hope that Peyton enjoys 3rd grade and learns a lot. We are so proud of her.

Baby Blessing

On Sunday we were able to bless Alexis in church. My wonderful mother-in-law purchased her blessing dress and even made her headband that she is wearing.
Here is Alexis right before we left for church.
Here I am with my 3 beautiful daughters. They were so excited for Alexis.

Our happy family.

Most of Ryan's family was out of town so we only were able to have his sister Amber and her family there. My brother-in-law Dave was also there but had to leave before pictures.

Everyone in my family was able to come except for Andrew and his wife Michelle. It was so great having them all there.
We are so happy to have Alexis as part of our family and we can't wait to celebrate many more special occasions with her.
