Alexis enjoyed playing with Santa nesting dolls while Ryan read the story.
I made a delicious mint and dark chocolate hot chocolate but of course the girls just wanted regular Swiss Miss. I also made homemade whipped cream. Yummy.
We read "The Gingerbread Man" and "The Night Before Christmas". We had a great time.

Now that's an update! I love all your activities...and that's it's real-life in that you cancelled one because everyone was crabby. :) I'd do the same. Disney sure sounds fun! Maybe next year...I think both the girls will be at an ok age to go by then. Maybe.
What a fun, relaxing night. It seems we are never home all at once these days. Next week I hope will be more nights like you are having.
Yep, we stole the hot chocolate and book idea from you, thanks! We had a great time. It's good to know someone else has cranky kids as I too had to cancel one night and send everyone to bed (myself included) early!
