4th of July

We had a fun filled 4th of July with our family this year. It started off with going to our church building for our ward's 4th of July breakfast. We all enjoyed the yummy food and were happy to have my mom and dad join us.
Here the girls are dressed up in their festive red, white, and blue outfits.
Aunt Rachael bought this cute shirt for Alexis and she wore it proudly.

We went over to my sister Becky's house for a fun BBQ and lots of swimming. The kids had such a good time and spent over 3 hours in the pool. Unfortunately we didn't reapply the sunscreen and the girls ended up with sunburns.

It was fun to have my Grandpa join us along with my Aunt Francine and my mom and sisters.

Alexis spent the afternoon in my cousin Nicole's arms. It was great having her take care of her for the 4 hours we were at my sister's house. (Nicole has 3 boys so she enjoys taking care of my little girls.)

Here are the cutest cupcakes that my cousin Nicole made. They were red, white, and blue striped. They also tasted delicious.
Overall we had a great day and were so happy to be spending so much time with our family. I hope all of you had a great 4th of July.

Man, you're quick! I was just going to finally post something and I saw you had beat me to it! Good thing though, I need to grab a couple of your pictures. Thanks for a great 4th of July.

Oh, so cute...the cupcakes too, but I meant Alexis in her little firecracker onesie. At first I didn't think she looked as much like her sister, but now it's all coming together, and she's looking more like a (your family) Ferrell. :) What a sweet little peanut! Hope everything is going well! LOVE ya!

Swimming and a family bbq, can't get much better than that! Those cupcakes looked like a lot of work, so fun!
