May 2014

May is the end of the school year here in Arizona so it is always a very busy month.
We first had Peyton's final 7th Grade orchestra concert.  They are so amazing and I am so grateful Peyton has the opportunity to go to a school where the music program is so great.

We had a fun Ferrell Family Home Evening at Tricia's house and did an activity with the "Iron Rod". The kids loved it.

The girls and Ryan showered me with lots of love on Mother's Day.

Lexi celebrated her 5th birthday.  All she wanted for her special breakfast was strawberries and whipped cream.

I let her take a few friends to BounceU to celebrate with her.  They had a great time playing and Lexi was so happy.

We had Ryan's parents and my Mom over to open gifts that night.  Grandma Ferrell got her an American Girl doll and she was in heaven.

Grandma Cardon got her a pet for her American Girl Doll.

We sure love Alexis and are so grateful she is in our family.

Lexi graduated from preschool and is ready for Kindergarten.  I can't believe how fast she is growing up.

Lexi's best friend Bella was in preschool with her and they were inseparable.

Lexi with Mrs. Crotts.

Peyton had a great time during the last week of school.  Her and her friends took these silly pictures in the PE locker room.  They all tried to fit in the lockers.

Peyton was named a Golden Scholar in her school for getting straight A's in all of her classes including her honors classes.  I'm so proud of her.

After the ceremony I took her out to breakfast to celebrate.

Peyton and Addi on the last day of school.
The day after school got out we drove to San Diego to go to Sea World with our great friends the Rusts.  They also have 4 girls in their family and they are all very close in age to our girls.  We do a lot of stuff with them and the girls couldn't wait to go on a trip with them.

Here is Peyton with Brynley.

Peyton and Addison.

Alexis loved Sea World.

Lexi and I on a ride.

The 4 oldest girls loved going on the river rapids ride and went on it several times.

Addison enjoyed a very short cat nap.

Lexi and Bella.

Peyton and Hailey

We went on Journey to Atlantis several times and it was Lexi's favorite ride.

The last time we rode the ride on Saturday night the girls decided to do a group hug.  About 30 seconds after I took this picture I realized that Lexi was the only one missing from the picture and realized she was actually missing for real.  We searched for about 10 minutes before Bartley found her a little ways away from the exit of the ride.  It was a very scary 10 minutes but I am so grateful we found her.

On Sunday we visited the San Diego Temple and the Mormon Battalion Museum.

The girls enjoyed panning for gold.

We had such a great time in San Diego and it was a great way to start off our summer.
