February 2013

At the beginning of February, Tyler and AnnaMarie's family came to visit all of us in Arizona.  They have twin boys that are 3 weeks younger than Addison and it was so fun to see them play together.  It was like having triplets.  They usually liked to be in the same place at the same time.

Their daughter Katie enjoyed playing with Alexis and was so nice to read her books along with her sister Jane.

Here are all 3 of the babies playing with the mega saucer at the same time. Addison is the one climbing in the bottom.

We celebrated my nephew Jaxon's birthday while the whole Ferrell family was together and we managed to get a picture of all the babies born in the year 2012 with Grandma and Grandpa.  Here are the kids from left to right.  Jack (March 2012), Cooper (September 2012), Aiden (March 2012), Addison (February 2012), and Koda (June 2012).  Poor Addison is the only girl.  It will be so fun watching them grow up together.

Valentine's Day is always so much fun.  I love decorating the house with cute notes and decorating the table for their delicious breakfast.

This year I made crepes with strawberries and whipped cream.  My girls loved it along with their special Valentine boxes I filled with goodies.

Here is our traditional Valentine's candlelight dinner.  I love spending Valentine's day with my family.

A week later we celebrated Addison's first birthday.

She enjoyed her chocolate cupcake but I think she got more on her face then she did in her belly.

We had all of the Cardon family and Ferrell family over for cupcakes and ice-cream.  I love being near so much family and having them over to celebrate these moments.

I think she is in a sugar coma.

Time for presents.

At the end of the month my sister-in-law Michelle came to visit for a medical conference.  While she was in Arizona we went and got pedicures and went to dinner.  Such a fun girls night.

January 2013

Peyton and Hailey both got one horseback riding lesson for Christmas.  They were both so excited to go to the lesson.  Peyton was a little scared at first but soon felt comfortable and didn't want the lesson to end.

Hailey wasn't scared at all and got right on and loved every minute of it.

Alexis loves her BYU cheerleading outfit that Ryan bought her.  She loves to put it on and do cheers for us.

Christmas 2012

This is what our tree looked like before the girls came down Christmas morning.

After I took this picture I allowed them to come downstairs.  They were so excited.

Peyton enjoyed helping Addison open her gifts.

Hailey loved what she got in her stocking.

Lexi loved the bike she got.

Hailey loved the gift Lexi got for her.

Peyton was excited to get this electronic dog.

We had a great Christmas and I think the girls loved all of their gifts.

Christmas Eve 2012

We spent Christmas Eve at my cousin Nicole's house again this year.  All of the Cardon great grandkids performed the nativity and did a great job.

Here are all of the great grandkids that were in attendance.

We ate, performed the nativity, sang songs, and then my cousin handed out the traditional Mita gifts.  My girls look forward to this every year.  This year Nicole did jewelry boxes for all of the girls.  They loved it.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas with my family.

Christmas Dress 2012

I thought it would be fun to take a picture of these 3 in the Christmas dresses that Peyton, Hailey, and Alexis wore 3 years ago.  Right before I took the picture Hailey accidentally dropped Addison and that is why she is crying and Addison looks like she has been crying.  At least Lexi looks happy.

Ferrell Family Christmas Party 2012

Our Ferrell Family Christmas party was a big success this year.  As you can tell Addison was super excited for it.
Grandpa did his money grab again (the kids get to stick their hands in to his coin bucket and pull out as much as they can with the help of Grandpa of course).
Here is Hailey with her stash.

Addison enjoyed watching it.

Lexi loved doing it.

And so did Peyton.
Lexi got the coveted spot on Grandma Ferrell's lap for some of the night.  She loves to have Grandma scratch her back.

We enjoyed playing the bells and singing.

The nativity was great again this year.  Addison played the part of baby Jesus, Hailey was the star, Lexi was an angel, and Peyton was a sheep.

We had a great time and enjoyed celebrating Christmas with the family.
