80's Day

September 2012
Peyton and Hailey's elementary school had a spirit day and the theme was the 80's.  The girls decided it would be fun to dress up how I use to when I was their age.  They looked super cute and it brought back lots of memories of my childhood (and side ponytails).

Sisters

August and September 2012
Here are some random pictures of the girls.
  Lexi loves to hold Addison.

The girls decided to go wake up Ryan and then joined him in bed.

I love that they are both smiling in this picture.

Addi has such a cute smile.

Here is Addi's first bites of baby food.  It wasn't really her favorite.

Addi was so happy when she finally learned to sit on her own.

Hailey decided it would be fun to read the Articles of Faith to Addison.

Hailey sure loves Addison.

Arizona Science Museum

September 2012
My sister Becky has a family pass to the Arizona Science Museum and invited us to come along and have some fun.  They had a great lego exhibit and the girls enjoyed driving this lego car.

They also had real brains from different animals and the girls were brave enough to touch them (I was not).  We had a great time and the girls can't wait to go back.

Peyton's 11th Birthday

August 2012
For Peyton's 11th birthday we had both sides of the family over on Sunday.  It wasn't actually her birthday but it was the best day to get everyone together.  Peyton happens to have 2 cousins with birthdays right next to hers so we celebrated their birthdays also.  Summer turned 15 and Makenna turned 10.

Lots of cousins came to celebrate.

On Peyton's actual birthday I made her crepes like she wanted and we got her flowers and a huge balloon.  She loved it.

Her very favorite gift was this brand new bike with a basket to carry her viola in.

First Day of School

August 2012
The girls started school and it is crazy that Peyton is in 6th grade.  Elementary school went so fast.  Hailey started 2nd grade and was nervous to start at a new school.

Peyton- 6th Grade

Hailey- 2nd Grade

We continued our tradition of having a candlelight dinner on the first day of school.  Cousin Jaxon and Aunt Ashley joined us for the meal.

A week later Alexis started preschool.  She was so excited.

Addison was excited to have some time alone with mommy.

Alexis loves her teacher Miss Cheri (she also taught Hailey in preschool and was my Young Women's President when I was a Laurel).

Addison

July and August 2012
The girls love playing with Addison and doing silly things with her.
In this picture Hailey and Alexis decided to put a pillow and towel on her while they played with some toys by her.

Hailey wanted to take a picture with Addi and of course had to give her bunny ears.

Peyton decided it would be fun to give Addi a mohawk.

Lexi loves to hold Addi.  I'm not sure how much Addi loves it.

The girls also love to dress Addi up.  Doesn't she look cute.

Talent Team Camp

July 2012
Peyton and Hailey participated in a singing and dancing camp for a week with their cousin Kate.  They learned songs from movies along with dance moves to go along with the songs.  They had a great time and learned a lot about working with other people (they even had to dance with boy partners!).

Ferrell Family Vacation 2012

July 2012 Aspen Grove
The Ferrell Family Vacation was a huge success again.  We went up to Aspen Grove Family Camp in Provo Canyon to enjoy lots of fun with the family.  Grandma and Grandpa Ferrell are so wonderful to pay for this great event every 2 years.  The kids and adults always have such a great time and this year was not different.
Alexis was so excited to be up in the mountains with the bears :-).
All the girls love their Grandpa.

Addison was so excited to meet her twin cousins Aiden and Jack.  They are just 3 weeks younger than her and this is the first time they met each other.

The kids decided to put on a talent show for the adults and then they all took a bow at the end.

Every year we look forward to the Aspen Follies which are games for the whole family.

Not a bad place to hang out with all of the beautiful mountains surrounding us.

One of Peyton's favorite things to do is the rock wall.  She tries to do it as often as they will let her.

Jaxon and Hailey decided to participate in the talent show.  Jaxon sang and Hailey danced.

Peyton and Makenna also participated in the talent show and sang a song that Makenna wrote.

Alexis enjoyed lots of swimming with her kids group.

During our down time the kids had a great time playing with each other.  Alyssa was such a great sport to let all of the little kids dog pile her.

She was also such a great help with the babies (we had 4 babies 4 months and younger)

Hailey and Kalle enjoyed going to the craft hut a lot.

The guys had fun playing in the 3 on 3 basketball tournament.

The family also enjoyed Frontier Night.  Snow cones were the first thing the kids wanted.

The train ride was a big hit with the kids also.

Peyton sure loves her Grandma Ferrell.

Lexi loved the horses.

Hailey and Alyssa enjoyed the face painting.

Grandpa Ferrell is still a kid at heart climbing on the playground.

Peyton loved getting wet in the "dunk tank".

So did Hailey.

Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed watching all of the fun.

Alexis loved her camp counselor and wanted a picture with her.

We also managed to get family pictures taken while we were there.  Here is Grandma and Grandpa with all of their grand kids.

The whole Ferrell Family (including Cooper who was inside Ashley's belly).

Ashley put together a bingo game for the kids and they all got prizes.

Of course the adults had to have their own bingo game later that night (and everyone got prizes too).

Peyton loved holding all of the babies.

The family also participated in the volleyball tournament and won again.  We were lucky this year and had my cousin Claire and her husband Rob on our team.

These cousins sure love each other.

My cousin Claire and her family just happened to be at the camp during the same week as us.  It was so fun to see them and spend time with them.

Peyton and Makenna before the closing show.

Peyton and my cousins daughter Elyse before the show.

Lexi enjoyed performing with her kids group.

So did Hailey.

Another fun number by Lexi's group.

Hailey's group did Kung Fu Fighting.

Peyton's group.

After the closing show they had a family dance.  It is so much fun to dance around with all of the family.

Uncle Dave and Uncle Tyler were great sports to play with my girls.

The girls getting down.

Grandma and Grandpa holding Addi and watching the dancing.

Ryan dancing with Lexi.

Peyton loved making Addi laugh.

I was at the dance also but I was taking all of the pictures so I wasn't in many.

We had such a great time and can not wait until we go again.  Thanks Mom and Dad Ferrell for the great trip.
